Edith, the little girl who is a hundred years old
Edith, the little girl who was 100 years old

Novemvber 2025. 123 pages (it's a kind of thick picture book)
Edith is a little girl who is different from the others. At her birth she received two gifts: the gift of bringing objetcts to life, and another one, wich turns out to be a curse: the Eternal Childhood. By the time she turns hundred, she is still a little girl and lives with her dog and a cute little lemon to whom she gave life. The lemon, Ikki, is going to help her realize her dream: to get rid of that curse. To grow up, make friends, maybe someday become a mother and even to grow old and yes, eventually die one day. To live a real life.
This album is an ode to life. Life that is imperfect at best. The life we cherish like a slightly clumsy drawing, because they are often the most beautiful.
Written in French and Dutch, my two languages.
It is translated by the wonderful Antonty Shugaar
It is released in German, by Moritz Verlag , dec 2024
and in The Netherlands by Querido, oct 2024.
