This is the 7th picture book with Billy the hamster cowboy, and of course his friend Jean-Claude, the worm.
They meet an extremely small horse - it is not taller than a cat. The little horse is happy to carry them. Now they are going to be able to go anywhere! But a thunder storm breaks out and Jean-Claude is carried away by the wind. Meanwhile rain comes as a flood…
This adventure ends all well with hazelnuts, roasted on the barbecue by Billy’s father, as usual : )
